La Maison du Chocolat

Started in 1977 by Swiss-trained Robert Linxe, this is a worldwide entity with 5 Paris locations.  The most convenient is inside the Printemps department store, and the most luxe is probably the original shop at  225 Rue du Faubourg Saint Honore.   Linxe gets his cream from Gruyere, and owns his one chocolate plantations in Trinidad and Venezuela.
